From Abstracts of Iceland

In 2010 my wife and I went to Iceland with the Liverpool Geological Society, of which she is a member. The Abstracts of Iceland are 15 paintings which were inspired by photographs taken on that trip. Each painting contains a small amount of volcanic ash which I collected. Some of these are shown below.
